I searched for this on hear and on the web for a long time and couldn't find it. I think my friend got confused with inverted flam tap or something.
Anyway does this rudiment exsit? If so, how do you play it?

I believe a diddle is just two notes played on one hand in succession, so there is no way to invert it. It's true that you can change the rhythms/notes/whatever up like geefunk said, but I don't think that's actually an inverted diddle. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think inverting a diddle is possible.

I'm not saying you or they are wrong. "Called" meant "named" in that last post. I just don't think the name fits what it is.
