Didn't we already cover this about 2 weeks ago in the off topic forum for you? And weren't you told how to fix your problem? (To refresh your memory the answer is YES.And how do I know?? Simple, because I answered you.)
Just a quick recap of the previous answer.
In order to arrange a song you have to obtain permission to arrange from the song's copyright holder (usually the publisher.) I told you how to do this before. But to make it easy on you I've compiled a list for you.
For Bohemian Rhapsody you need to contact Hal Leonard.
For Stairway to Heaven you need to contact Warner Bros.
For Mr.Roboto you need to contact TMB Productions, LLC.
Use this form found here when contacting them.
http://wgi.org/percussion/copyright/permissiontoarrange.pdfBe warned (again)that they will charge you a fee.(And that it doesn't matter if it's for educational purposes.)
It took me all of 5 minutes to gather that information.(Plus I even found arrangements of Stairway to Heaven and Bohemian Rhapsody ALREADY arranged for Winter Percussion.) Like I said in my other post (remember the one where you already asked for help with this and received it?)...Google is a wonderful tool ...use it!! In fact, maybe if you searched these songs you'll discover that Mr. Roboto wasn't released until 1983 (on the Kilroy was here album) so it shouldn't be in a show titled the "Spirit of the 70's".
And again, I would be happy to arrange these charts as I arrange music as my primary source of income. (And in your previous post... the one where you already asked for help with this and received it...Someone else even said that there are definitely people on here that could arrange the charts for you for a price.)
So if I were you this is what I'd do. Purchase the aforementioned arrangements that already exist (they will be cheaper than commissioning them to be arranged.) and then have someone arrange Mr. Roboto for you.(or chose another song that already is arranged for winter percussion.)
or commission me or any one of a thousand arrangers to arrange the charts.
I hope that for a second time this helps you with this topic.
(p.s. If you look for the previous thread in the off topic section it has been purged already for inactivity.)
