I was just playin around on my tenors last night and I came up with a pretty cool scrape pattern I think. Its just some scrapes, then windmills, backwards windmills, some threes,the backwards windmills, windmills, and end with a gock (2112 1313 2424 3131 4242 242424 131313 4242 3131 1313 2424 g). I did it in the mirror and it looks really cool. I just came up with it last night so i still hit 2 or 3 rims each time, I havent got it totally clean yet, but it sounds cool.

Interesting,sounds like alot a lot of fun. *is reaching out for his tenor pad* i'm gonna go see how it feels like.

I just got done learning it and dang..me likey haha its fun to play. I think that lil scrape pattern would sound good for a lil tenor feature.

I figured that 131313 242424 sweep thing a few months ago when I was messing around with butterflys(or windmills, whatever you call them)

You have to start the roll with your left crossed at the wrist, left over right

sweep out, then sweep out with the right then sweep the same drums agian with the left hand under while the right hand goes over to drums 2 &4 to do the same pattern

if you start with drums 2&4 you can start the pattern with thw right hand

its just butterflys with 3 sweeps on the drums instead of 2, its really fun

Yeah that 131313 4242 part feels a little awkward. I was trying to figure out what to do without changing it too much because i like it, so I just moved my right hand out of the way more and tried to make it look smooth.

Haha yes i did that on purpose, i love the dave matthews band. Carter is an incredible drummer and I just love their music. (By the way nice name yourself)

It plays really well. I also found out that you could put flams in certain parts
