My band director has asked me and a friend to possibly play a double concerto for two marimbas with our wind ensemble this year. So far we have only been able to find one: Duo Concertante by Gordon Stout. We emailed Stout and he said it was too advanced of a piece for high school musicians.

The other one we have been thinking of is the Bach Double Concerto in D minor. The only problem with this is that I can't find any transcriptions of it for a wind ensemble. Does anyone know of where I can find one?

Or do you know of any other double concertos that would be good for marimbas (or any two mallet instruments)?

Both me and my friend would really like to get the opportunity to play something special this year because it will be our senior year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
