Who do you think did the coolest and awesomest looking stuff on quadz this year?(it doesnt have to be the cleanest but more of the fun looking stuff)
My favorite was definitely the BD tenor line, all the down the line stuff was jsut amazing and should be seen more often.

Cadets had the coolest tenor solo, although it kind of gets old after you see the same solo year after year.

I think the Cavies have the coolest tenors this year. They are definently throwing down some notes and playing clean as well.

I have to agree with you there. The southwind bass/tenor thing was pretty awesome.

I really liked the Cadets' tenor line from what I saw on the field and their solo. I also got to see the Cavies' tenor line up close and on the field, and they were very good also. I'd still have to say that the Cadets are better in almost every aspect this year, though.

I went to DCI when they came to San Antonio and I have to say that I LOVED Phantom's tenor line. I bought a pair of Cavies tenor mallets and if thats what they play with then WOW! Those are some hardcore sticks!!

I just saw much Parking Lot Videos, and there the Cadets are the cleanest Tenorline at all. But most Fun to look were the Blue Devils and Cavies this Year imo.

Minnesota Brass all the way! They have a really amazing lead tenor player...surrounded by 2 lesser experienced players so they gave lead tenor an actual solo solo which was completely awesome, but in terms of a full line I'd say Cadets.

I loved the cadet's tenors this year. I went to the parking lot and watched them for like half an hour after drums across kansas. It was amazing to be that close to them and get to see them play.

Coolest tenor goes to Phantom. In fact I think they are the most underrated line this year. Those boys where playing some serious notes.

As far as coolest lick goes, i definetly gotta throw that out to Southwinds bass/tenor thing. Not only did it look cool, but still sounded decent. The basses played an easy scrap pattern across 4-2 but still it looked awesome. That was such an awesome idea! But, I dug BD's tenor line split, that was bada$$.

Blue Devils by far the coolest to watch. But cadets had a book too but Blue devils tenors stuck out. Cavaliers did not impress me much but they are a young line lets see what they can do in a couple of years

The Southwind bass/tenor thing was awesome! Phantom's tenorline has been underrated for a long time, in my opinion, they were amazing. But I have to go with the Cadets on this one.

Dude. Nobody here has mentioned WGI. I'm still counting that as this year. What about those Rhythm X tenors?!?! The parking lot vids I took of them were unbelievable; I watched it like 5x a day for the month after World Championships.
Of course, they played their amazing tenor feature well at Championships, but on the DVD it doesn't sound even close to as tight as in the parking lot (on grass actually) but that's not because they played it any worse, it's because of the echo in the gym and the crowd screaming.

Blue Knights for WGI. (Or whoever did the show about the insane asylum this past season . . . "GET-OUT-OF-MY-HEAD! BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!" . . . Them.) I mean, using both shallow shell and deep shell tenors. Awesome.

Hated the show, loved the fact that they used two types of tenors.
