Coolest tenor goes to Phantom. In fact I think they are the most underrated line this year. Those boys where playing some serious notes.

WORD. Phantom's quads were throwing down this year.

As far as coolest lick goes, i definetly gotta throw that out to Southwinds bass/tenor thing. Not only did it look cool, but still sounded decent. The basses played an easy scrap pattern across 4-2 but still it looked awesome. That was such an awesome idea! But, I dug BD's tenor line split, that was bada$$.

DEFINITELY Phantom. Bluecoats get the honorable mention.

Phantom was awesome this year, but i think the cadets were just as good or probably better.

Blue Devils by far the coolest to watch. But cadets had a book too but Blue devils tenors stuck out. Cavaliers did not impress me much but they are a young line lets see what they can do in a couple of years

The Southwind bass/tenor thing was awesome! Phantom's tenorline has been underrated for a long time, in my opinion, they were amazing. But I have to go with the Cadets on this one.

I agree with tenortoad it is about time that Phantom got some credit for having a simply outstanding tenor line.

It's all about the Regiment. Phantom has the most amazing tenor line this year.

Dude. Nobody here has mentioned WGI. I'm still counting that as this year. What about those Rhythm X tenors?!?! The parking lot vids I took of them were unbelievable; I watched it like 5x a day for the month after World Championships.
Of course, they played their amazing tenor feature well at Championships, but on the DVD it doesn't sound even close to as tight as in the parking lot (on grass actually) but that's not because they played it any worse, it's because of the echo in the gym and the crowd screaming.
