You mean 1st DCI trophy. If I remember correctly there were a couple the corps received before that.

Now get your shorts and bring them with you to initiations.

On-topic:
I'd have to say 1990 Cavaliers. I love the show material and the drum book, especially the drum solo.

I'm not a big Cavies fan but I wouldn't have minded being in the lines between 90-95.

I would love to have been in the 92' Cavies line. Great solo, and my instructor marched snare that year.

The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?

I would definetly be on the 1992 Blue Devils drumline because they played "When a Man Loves a Woman" and the band stripped, and ran around with their shirts open;that is my favorite DCI song ever.

"I'll be honest with you, I love his music, I do, I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, it doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman"."

'03 Blue Devils

I liked the show, the music and most certainly, the drumline.

Love the 'Office Space' quote, but the '92 BD show (thankfully) had nothing to do with Michael Bolton. The original was by Percy Sledge and BD based their version from a Bette Midler arrangement.

...any Spirit or Blue Devils line Float taught..
#1 would be the '86 Blue Devils, first Drum Corps show I ever saw was in '86, the only show they lost that year..wow!
that was the line that made me want to march.
