sajjad lives a couple miles away from me, and he would show up to a couple sectionals when we'd have them for PC. amazing that someone who marched such amazing lines could now spend his days peacefully living in just an ordinary town, visiting the park to watch a snare sectional.

I have always been a big BD fan, and I saw this show in Tupelo...but when I saw Phantom's line this past year I thought they definatly had the best percussion section, both musically and chops wise.

Def Cavies 90-92 especially 92. It was the total package. The uniforms, notes, and visuals all just blended together into something indescribable. And it was really loud. Later lines came close to being that cool, 2000 in particular, but obviously it will never be like it was and there weren’t anymore Jim Campbell notes after 93. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRNYh7PjsvgAhhhh, the good ol' days before we had trumpets, singers, a dozen perc features that all sound the same, and saxophones in I&E. <sigh and rocking chair creaking>
