I want to know if you guys think is the best line ever or who did the coolest things with their tenors. My personal favorite was the BD quads from The Phenomon of Cool. Just because they did things i had never seen before and were just awesome to watch. And the Cadet's quadz from 94'.

!QUESTION!

Alright. I'm a bit confused of what you're asking.

-Best quad line of all time
-Best DCI quad line of all time
-Best quad line this year
-Best quad line of all time this year

As far as DCI quad/quint lines go....
1990 Blue Devils (toms playing toms in the "Tommy" Show.
1990 SCV (the toms threw down after the snares patty flam fives
1994 Cadets (listen to the judges comments on the tape)

the best tenor line that i've ever seen so far, is the BD's tenor line of 2004. and second best tenor line of all time would be Cadets of 2000 (awesome).

Yeah, Cadets with this Behind-the-Back Thing in 2000 was just awesome, but in my Opinion the best DCI Tenorlines ever were Blue Devils 2004 and Cavaliers 2004.

i meant the best this year and the best of all time, whatever you like of the best.

I would have to say the best quad lines were 90' BD or 04' BD.

Blue Devils '04 was really awesome; I've never seen such clean tenor players before! I also liked Bluecoats '98; That was an awesome quad break, and plus Bachman was the tenor tech that year.

I think the Cavies have the best tenor line.

It's really hard for me to pick the best from this year. SCV, BD, and the Cavies were all great. I think SCV would probably take the cake for me though, just based on their musicality, cleanliness, and ability to flow. As for the best tenor player, either Tim Jackson or Bill Bachman. I think Tim Jackson may have better chops, but Bill Bachman is a better teacher and writer.

Best quad line of all time. VK 1994. Seven guys playing meat and crazy splits (Judges tapes say it all). Best quad drummer ever, Sean Vega.

I saw the Cadets this year; I really enjoyed their show. And yes, the tenor line is awesome; I talked to one of the tenors after the show, and he's a pretty cool guy.

I haven't been in drum corps for long enough to really make an educated statement here, but in the few years that I have been watching, the 05 Cadets tenor line is just sweet. I got to see them out at West Chester as well as in an indoor concert at West Chester leadership camp, and most recently tonight at Giants, and I'm still blown away even after hearing it that many times.

BD '97. They had some of the fastest flams around the drums that I've ever seen, among other things, and still the heights were great and no dirt that I could hear. Of course the audio isn't great on my recording but still, just ridiculous. It shouldn't be legal to do that.
