Anonymous Unregistered	Our band wears black probabaly because it matches with our uniform better and because when we march at football games they don't show as much dirt and white would.

Anonymous Unregistered	I prefer white because if you sound good, then you gotta look good. However, my high school band wasn't like that so we had black.

Anonymous Unregistered	Our high school band used black. The dum majors wore white and they looked tough to clean when they got dirty. I think black look better because they shine up nicely.

PiZetaPitman Registered: 04/13/05 Loc: St. Louis, MO	I have always used black shoes because of the school colors. They can be a pain in the foot when marching in the hot weather, but it is all about the uniform. I had to wear black for six marching seasons; four at Hazelwood West, and two at Lindenwood University. And it will be seven next Fall.

cymbalman Registered: 05/30/03	Why would you use one color for practice and another color for shows? SamuraiX864 Registered: 08/26/04	My school wears white marching shoes because it goes with our uniforms, white pants with a red stripe and a red top.
