Snare -
Dynasty; I'm partial to the Shorty drums with top snare units. Nice articulation, yet still warm in a sense.
Tenors -
Yamaha; Again, nice articulation. They sound a lot different than other brands and seem to have a little more emphasis on higher pithces, granted the birch shells.
Basses -
Pearl; Deep, deep, deep, and articulate sounding when tuned in manners I like. The extra two inches added to the depths of the thirty and thirty-two inch drums really seems to make a difference.
Cymbals: The versatility and catalogue drive me to pick Sabian. They material is slightly thicker than Zildjians and is less likely to invert during normal playing, and the quality is unmatched.
Pit: Adams; their mallet instruments are some of the toughest I've seen, and sound warm and lush at the same time.
