Hi. I have a question regarding the solo 'Theme and Variations for Snare Drum' by Dan Heslink.

I don't understand a lot of the markings, and the edition I have been provided with does not come with a key. Has anyone play this, and would know what do when, for example, the note changes it placing on the staff, is marked with a legato mark with a staccato above it, has a triangle above it, a marcato mark with a slash through it (resembles a capitol 'A') an accent mark with a slash through the lower line, an x with an o above it (I assume the x's are rim taps) etc.
I am baffled that no key if provided with such compley markings. Can anyone here help me?
