Heel is more comfortable for me . In my corps we are doing a piece in 7/8 where the 8th note is at mm-184 . We mark time whole foot & I feel uncomfortable , though, I can find the beat better with whole foot , but I would have to say heel.

If we're going to move immediately after marking(Like say we're warming up with a basics block) then it's whole foot. It'd be 8 to 5, mark 4, 8 to 5, mark 4, etc.
If we're just doing it stand still, then it's just the heel.
