This summer at a percussion camp we are holding, we are going to try and do some different activities to promote teamwork and leadership within the section. Does anyone know of any good games or activities that would be good for building teamwork or leadership?

Though I absolutely despise "relays", there are a ton of different relays you can do that require teamwork. Most of them are games used at youth retreats and stuff. You may be able to find some stuff on the internet, but I can't think of any specific relays off the top of my head.

My brother owns and runs a company that does that sort of thing (teambuilding). It would cost you some money, but probably worth it. Get your whole band involved and have your director pay for it. His company is called, "The Project One." Contact him at theprojectone@hotmail.com
