Font Registered: 12/27/04 Loc: Miami, Fl	I've been going through the many Percussion websites looking for cheap Drum Pads, because I'm a little short on money. Does anyone know where to find a good, durable, good sized Drum Pad? A Snare one, obviously, because the Heavy Hitter Quadropad's are like a hundred and twenty dollars, and I don't have the money for that . . .

pyrodrummer blank Registered: 10/05/04 Loc: georgia	I would try and find a Real Feel pad. they run around 40 to 50 bucks, 30 if you can find a good discount. they are very good and they are double sided, one soft rubber side, and one hard rubber side. just about everyone on our drumline has one, and you can get different sizes _________________________ Once a King, always a king, but once a Knight is good enough. 02 Cymbals 03 Bass 04 Quints

iswm Registered: 06/25/04 Loc: Tucson, AZ	Check out the review section also.. The Vic Firth double sided pad is good, and runs about half the price of a Reel Feel. Ironman7 Registered: 02/22/04 Loc: Springfield M.A	YOu could go to a plumbing supply house or a hardware store and ask for rubber gasket material. It has the same feel as the black side of a Real Feel with a little more response. YOu can get a whole roll of it for about $10 combine that with a bit of plywood and bango you got a MacGyver drum pad. It has a soft, quiet side that "builds chops" (it doesnt really work my arms out any) and then the other side and i dont care to much for the way it rebounds, but really clear strokes. _________________________ You can protect your respect, if you only take your fame with a grain.
