I was just watching one of my favorite shows and does anybody know how they got the phantom out from underneath the sheet. Or did they swear to secrecy everyone that knows?

Magic. No I believe that there was some kind of box underneathe the chair. I'm not sure about this but I think they Phantom just got in the box somehow. Sorry... crappy answer, I know.

Ok if you look realy closely you can see the guy who played the Phantom under the chair when the two gaurd girls are pulling down the black sheet thing over the box.

SCV kindof has a history of hiding people and making them appear during shows. i know that they did it in '87 and in 2004. but i didnt know that they did that in '89.

They hid someone at the end of the show '86-'89. In '87 I believe there were two girls that "disappeared" into the floor's platform.

we played that show this year, so iv watched the show quite alot a lot, if you look very closely, under the chair there is a very long, skinny box sort of built into the platform, it is covered in a stretchy material, and if you watch carefully while the girls are covering him with the sheet, you can see someone moving around in the little box, his head is like kind of popping out of the strecthy material(to your left of the chair), by the way, its an awesome show

One of the girls is using an object to simulate the Phantom's head under the sheet. She ditched the object when they throw the sheet back to reveal the empty chair.
