My cymaballers at Paramount just got these cyms and I wanted to hear comments/questions/concerns about these.

I personally am not quite impressed by them. The big difference that sets them apart from other cyms is the rippled edges to reduce a vacuum lock when improperly crashing. This sounds like an alright idea, but when you have to do slides or sucks, they don't "suck" like they should. I nearly killed my stomach the first time I did a slide with them. Also something I like is they have a nice bright sound for affordable cymbals, but getting that nice sound may be a little difficult for beginners. On the other hand they might be more forced into a correct technique this way rather than having a decent crash no matter which angle. Lastly, the one thing I love about these cyms is the swirls. The ridges give the swirls the loudest sound I've heard outside of drumcorps. That is all.
