help me badly. im new here and ive never been in band before. i go to my high school football games and get jealous because im not in band. im a sophmore whos desperate for some snare action stuff. i can read music but not well. i need to know what i could do to be in band. i want to be in band so badly.

Well, what you could do is during the band's major downtime, namely winter, you could try out for the winter percussion show if they have one, or you could get on www.vicfirth.com and copy down and learn all of the rudiments, as well as find some warm-ups on sheet music. If you need some warm-ups, I can probably help you out or send you some via email. Just let me know, bro. My email should be in my profile, so feel free to contact me.
