Nice those were funny. I am actually going to print those off and post them in the drumline dungeon at school.

That list can come in handy one day when your director wants to know what your talking about.

Here's one that my high school instructor used...."Suck Rocks", meaning, as you can probably guess, to suck.

Exact quote.."You guys got a 70. That sucks...that sucks rocks!"

I like how there are so many words for the worst person in the snare line. I find it extremely amusing to first, refer to the worst player in secret until you come up with a nickname for that person, then you can openly refer to a total skrew up as a total...(insert nick name )For instance, you have turned into a(joel, john, maricus, becky etc.) Be sure to be respectful to those who actually cannot physically or mentally comprehend playing drums. It is hard to fathom that someone is literally incapable of playing, but it is true. If you still don't think so, visit my line, and I'll introduce you to a living, breathing example.

- Edited for double-posting. You have up to 6 hours to use the Edit button to modify a post. -

Bus driver: The drumline section leader, or member of the line that takes charge and is generally adored by all. Also used to refer to the entire drumline. The band is a bus and the drumline drives it. If they don't know where their going, the whole band is going to crash and burn. But regardless of how well the drumline does at any event(practice, shows, competition) the ones who get blamed for everything, and are last to be dismissed from practice.

Fly paper-When you have wrapped your sticks in hockey tape and when your hands get sweaty they make the tape so sticky that stuff starts to stick to it.
