Diddle Visuals for Snare Listed Here

I'm sure we all know that there are some diddle visuals on tenors such as sweeps, etc. Bringing them to snare can look just as good, and is actually quite easy to perform.
To complete any of these, you will have to switch to matched grip sometime during the show, which is also easy.
Figure 8's My personal favorite for snare. Simple, easy crossover pattern. Personally, I think it looks better on snare, though may not sound better.
Just do a normal RRLLRRLL pattern. Now, pretend you are on tenors and sweep your first two RR's and LL's to the right. Now, crossover the left stick with your 2nd RR and go under the right stick with the 2nd LL. Just like a figure 8. It's a really tight, as in close together visual, so don't hit your other stick while crossing over. This can look especially nice in Ditty when you have a lot of rolls towards that bass solo.
Reverse Figure 8's A little harder to complete. The pattern is RRLLRRLL as usual, but this time sweep the first RR's and LL's to the left, and the second pair to the right. Same as Figure 8's; different direction.
Buzz roll minus the Buzz Easy pattern; RRLLRRLL edge to center, center to edge, repeat. Nothing special. Helicopters (sp.?) Another easy RRLLRRLL pattern. Just sweep your RR diddles to the right, and your LL diddles to the left. Easy said and done, and unlike Figure 8's, you don't always have to do a quarter note count of rolls to complete it.
Ring around the Rosy Pretty cool RRLLRRLL visual. Simply diddle one of your hands in place (doesn't matter which) and sort of diddle the other in a circular motion. It sounds hard, but it isn't.
Triplet them! If you have strong enough hands, do all these excercises whilst diddling 3 notes with one hand instead of 2. It makes the visuals look even better...
I hope this gave you guys some ideas/inspiration. Give me feedback, constructive criticism, or post your own diddle visuals. Thanks for your time.

There is only a couple things wrong with this. It wont give you an even snare roll if thats what is needed you can really do them and you cant do this in trad grip.

And, it is possible to get an even sound. Just takes practice.

oh i missed the matched grip sentence there. But to get the even sound you would ahve to play all the notes in relively the same area because the closer you get to the rim the higher the drum sounds. So if youdoing like figure 8's its going to be very difficult to hit every note in a similar sounding area to the last one. I know on tenors you do it on diffrent drums and the sounds raises and lowers.. but on a snare drum im not sure how well that would sound. especially with more than one person doing it..

if you have a snare line of 3-5... get into a formation where you are VERY close to each other... So the rims are as close as tenor rims are. You may want to angle in a bit. Proceed to do circle scrapes as a snare line. On tenors, the similar pattern would be RRLL RRLL RRLL 2124 2124 2124 etc...
If you ever need to make up a snare feature, using this and other type of drum-to-drum playing can be pulled off with ease.

True, and that's a very good idea, Kevin. I didn't think of that. I'm pretty sure most of these visuals can be pulled of from drum to drum. What do you think?
