I havent used their marching sticks I was hoping to buy a pair pretty soon though. I use 3a fatback and 5a los angles on my set and I hardly ever break a stick since i fount vater. I used to go through a stick easily but to me vater seems to hold up better.

Vater is hands down my choice for drumset sticks and mallets, but when it comes to marching sticks I'm partial to the Hardimons

Sohcahtoa, i almost completely agree with you. i love vater sticks so much and theyre my #1 choice out of everything that exists. but i still like their marching sticks as much as hardimons.

I've never used Vater marching sticks, but I've had some pretty bad luck with their kit sticks. I bought a box of their 5As some time ago. Those things lasted NO TIME. Perhaps it was a bad batch...I dunno. I know a lot of guys that swear by them though...

I used some vater hammers before. As a tenor stick worked ok. but i ended up jsut cutting one end flat and putting an MT1 head on it when the shafts broke on the real ones..

i havent tried the tenor mallets....but the MV7's are awesome and i think the XD-Rock, XD-5B, and regular Vater Rock sticks are absolutely amazing. perfect for me anyway....
