Most of the line has picked up the habit of drumming with hands on desks and tables, thanks in no small part to us seniors. :P
The funniest thing happened today though, I have calculus BC with the bass section leader, and he was locked out of the classroom mid-lecture after he went to get something. so he's looking through the door window and knocking, and I come over and start playing the 'A' part of our double beat exercise. Then he joins in, and when he does I switch over to the 'B' part, which layers into the A part in a really nifty way. So we have this groove going on the either side of the door, and then I open it after the phrase ends and the whole class is just wide-eyed, bewildered.

I used to carry some hardimonds and a 6 inch reel feel, but not anymore. Everybody was begging me to let them play it, so I just didn't bring it back. Now i catch myself playing paradiddles or swiss army tiplets without even knowing it, and even the show music sometimes; also, some cadences i or other people have made *cough*gostosa*cough*

I carry some scojos or hardimons sometimes, but not often. There is no real reson to carry em anyways, or at least for me there isn't.

I normally have a pair of sticks in my binder at school. Or I'll tell the teacher I forgot my book or something in the band room and I go get my sticks because the teachers know that if I don't have what I need for class I normally don't pay attention and I write cadences all day.
