......YET.

The trend seems to be that you'll gain symptoms of it AFTER your high school days. Usually about 5 years afterwards you'll notice some differences in your hearing.I said this in a related thread, but you chose to reply in this one instead .

I sometimes get headaches after playing if I don't wear earplugs. Do y'all think this is related to hearing problems?

I kept screwing up orders at work yesterday. I can't understand people on the drive through mic when they talk low, espcially if I have the earphone on my left ear...this sucks!

We all wear ear plugs simply b/c it helps you focus. It gives you something to pay attention to and you dont even have to think about it being to loud, or taking breaks to, (and i love this one) "let your ears recover"

I was center snare all 4 years in high school, I couldn't tell a difference in my hearing after MB season was over my Senior year. Probably because I was already half deaf (sp?)

I've been druming for a good 7 or 8 years and I can definatly tell a difference in sound. I always have to turn the tv up really loud. But by the time I'm old and gray, they'll have a pill for deafness. Good thing.
