feisty Registered: 09/15/07 Loc: texas	we have winter guard and the battery only plays at two basketball games a season but in april we have a percussion ensemble concert with our three middle school percussion sections and high school but no competitions _________________________ Heyyyyy :] im deanna im a junior and im a snare drummer :] and thats all ya need to know :p

Though i have had as idea for a long time to just have an independant group consisting of all the high schools in my parish (only the best from every line) and competing like that, though it'd be a very difficult and expensive thign to get started. _________________________ Slidell High Drumline Freshman 06' - Tenors Freshman 07' - Snare (Mardi Gras) Sophomore 07' - Snare (Asst. PanasonicYouth Registered: 05/07/07 Loc: Oxnard, CA	My school used to team up with another school here for winter drumline, but last year there were a bunch of complaints from some parents whose kids didn't get spots because some of our people were better. Needless to say, they cancelled. Seriously, some parents need to grow up and get used to the fact that their kid isn't the best. No word on it this year, but I'm hoping for it.
