I'm with BismarkUMD. Go with the Zildjian gloves. Full-leather grip is pretty darn awesome. I have noticed a few rips at the seams, but I would still recommend them. They come in a thin orange box.

Where i go to school we use Nike KEystone gloves and they work amanzingly well we all love them. For the cymbal flip down it is sort of a flick of the wrist it is hard to tll you without showing you though and this is with the "garfeild" grip

Yeah our line doesn't wear gloves. Just like someone said above, we wear gloves only when its cold, but I live in Tennessee, it rarely gets cold enough to wear gloves.

The cymbal players in my drumline just use Nike batting gloves that we got for like 18 bucks. They are nice tight are a lot better than just bare hands if fact in kinda feels weird playing without gloves on now. And they they never get in the way of playing drum_addict09
