There have been A lot of corps that like to do that visuals. They step out with one foot, bend their knees and come back up.

If I'm visualizing what you're talking about right, the Rhythm X, RCC and a ton of top level WGI groups did this constantly last season. Dunno about DCI though.

Its just body work. Its all over the indoor percussion scene. Recently Blue Devils exploited the crap out of it and threw it into their tap roll feature a couple of years ago and people raved about how cool it was...when its all been done before (especially by the BD's indoor progr- I mean...RCC drumline :p). Oh well, whats new to DCI...is still new. Anyway, go watch some WGI clips if you want to get some more ideas on how far body work can go.

Pioneer Indoor Tenor Line...I don't know if I can tell you guys the show title yet.. but it's awsome.

I believe the Cav's are doing it with their tenor line this year, while playing on the person next to you's drum.
