yes. As long as there are no conflicts within each ensemble.. many groups have two or three weekends that you can audition in. some start in october, others in november. some PIO/PIA groups wont even start until January.

Lastly the fact that MCM's members say they will be coming back, doesnt mean they all Can/will... and if Patty is right about his age, he has a few years to go. And can meet and greet with the staff so they know who he is and the type of work he does if/when a hole opens up. Possibly even mid season.

Well just about a week ago one of the Mystique bass players told me that no one aged out and they were all looking at returning.

Maybe they won't but they all can and sound like they want to, he said.

I currently March Eastside Fury. Just because Odyssey and Pariah didnt make finals, doesnt mean that they arent bad groups. Odyssey was a PIW finalist in 05, 06, and 07. Pariah was a finalist in 2004 and did very well in PIO the last few years.

Mystique is were id go if i were an age out, but keep the other 2 PIW lines in mind. Fury isnt a "top competitor" but i love the experience and the people.

Its all about what YOU need to do to be happy i guess

As FurySnare pointed out, OPT made finals 05-07. AND THEY WERE TOP 10 EACH ONE OF THOSE SEASONS. Yeah, they had an off season in 08. But every line does now and again. I say audition for OPT. They have a VERY strong lower battery due to the superb instructional staff they've got.

Or, hit up Pariah. Either way, since you're already in metro ATL, stick with local lines. You'll come to appreciate it when the season starts and you don't have that far to go every weekend...

Dude I'm pretty sure this isn't your age-out year. Did you just graduate high school? If the bday you have in your profile is correct you should have at least 2 more years. I was born in 87 and I have two more indoor seasons left (bonus year for me).

Don't think Odyssey will be easy to make either. I know one of their staff works with Georgia Tech's drumline, and a lot of those guys have tried out before. And they don't suck.

I'm trying out for Quest on tenors, anybody know how many are returning? just wondering really.
