yea SCOM is pretty cool because the basses play that guitar intro then the guitars play the intro again....haha you probley didnt get that but it sounds pretty sweet

yes!!! my instructor decided to beef up the percussion parts! to our show. supposed to have it tomorrow!! lookin forward to it and hearin the drum feature!

All of our shows are custom wiitten of our band but this year we have custom music based on the movie "Iron Man" IT IS SO SICK!!! Ill post a video on the post a video of your school section when we have one.

band camp started today, and I am very pleased. 5 basses, 3 snare, 2 tenors, 2 cymbals, and a good show. We got an extra cymbal and an extra bass at the last second. The cymbal player is at the mercy of the section leader. One bad mess up, behavior wise, and he is gone.

it was a good day. we can march the opener, and we are gpin to play and march it tomorrow. We are also goin to learn the second song tomorrow also.

First day of band camp, we got our first song down good..its at standstill though..Fat Bottomed Girls..slow tempo..then a drum break, which we got, then we are putting drill to our next song Cant Buy Me Love.

I just found out that our trumpet instructor marched Spirit of JSU, AND he marched Phantom Regiment 2006, yes the faust show..I am still tripping over that..a trumpet from PR '06..instructing in a little hick county that we will live way down south..amazing..lol

we just got the last movement of our show yesterday
but we still only have the first movement for percussion

but our show's called "Apocolypse" cause two years ago we did
"In the Beginning" by Key Poulan and so we wanted to do like..a sequal so he wrote this one for us

and we had a different guy write the percussion parts this year and its not exactly easy lol...

the show sounds really cool and will sound cool when we piece it all together...its just getting it all clean thats the problem

we can march and play all songs, but a cadence the drumline has been making uo the past 3 days got SHUT DOWN!

They were playing it going to the practice field, and after rehersal, the bd went on a schpeel (sp?)


No solos, no playing on break, no playing unless you are being conducted. I did not give you sheet music for that, and I didn't tell you to play. Don't tap at all. A break is a break. That means do not play. Understand? If you do it again, the entire line runs 5 laps!

pretty much what he said. He doesn't want their creativity to be used. just some technique had to be used, and it would be pretty cool.
