Ok guys, I'll be auditioning for a corps for the 2009 season, and I need you guys' opinion.

I'm going to live in Nebraska this august, and I'm glad to have found out that (thanks to the DLO community) there are a lot of corps near Nebraska.

After some thought, I'm torn between the Cavaliers and the Blue Knights.

Okay. So guys, which corps do you think is easier for a rookie to make it in?
I know Cavaliers score better and all, but the auditioning process might be easier or something, I don't know.

If you guys want, you guys can suggest another corps, I'm fine with that also.

Thank you guys!

If your able to (as far as audition dates, money, etc.) I would go to both. And way to open a can of worms people love to tell you in every way possible that it doesn't matter which one is "harder" to "just get yourself out there" Which is true I'm just tired of hearing it in every way possible.

I think this has been discussed a million times in some form or fashion. Neither corps will be "easier" to make than the other. Decide which one plays the style you most like to play and go there.

There's a whole thread devoted to a rookie's chances of getting into Cavies -

I agree with MCPWayne about the whole opening the can of worms thing. It'd be more helpful if people who actually were members of said corps or who have been to those corps' camps before to put in their 2 cents. The experiences are different - you may fit in better somewhere else.
