Does anyone know how to go about acquiring percussion banners? Is there a place to buy them or do you have to steal them from shows? =x

I've checked all the major online shops and haven't found anything. I'd like to have a nice Yamaha percussion banner for my wall.

thanks

Then perhaps you can show us the topic, because I looked and used the search feature and that's the only one of relative pertinence that I found as well.

As far as banners, I know that my band director asked one of the sales reps when she placed orders and they sent us a Pearl one, but I don't know of any places that sell them directly. Occasionally you can find the odd one on ebay, but you can't pick and choose what company's swag is being sold, haha.

Have you tried emailing the customer service people at the drum companies? Pearl and especially Dynasty have reputations for going the extra mile for customers. If they don't hook you up, they may at least get you pointed in the right direction.

I emailed both Innovative and Dynasty and they both send me a bunch of window stickers and bumper stickers free of charge. Of course, they aren't banners. But I'm still suprised I got them for free. (It's advertising for them, I guess.) I think I'm gonna try VF, Promark, Remo, and Yamaha next.

I would suggest calling around to various drum/instrument shops/dealers: columbus percussion, steve weiss, woodwind & brasswind, etc. Just snooping around, I've ocasionally seen a banner/sign pop up, usually in the "used/preowned" areas (I think.)

Quite a few are also available on ebay fairly frequently -- search for "<insert brand here> sign" and/or "<insert brand here> banner".
