Trouble Writing percussion parts

I need to be critiqued on my percussion parts to this song, and pretty much all the other parts, except the brass parts, which I got pretty good i think. Tell me how my drum part could be changed. The tenor and snare especially. I haven't done the cymbal parts yet, but I'm sure they would... suck. edit- it comes from a college band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do7v1xzCGpI

Just for the record, that mellophone part is unplayable unless you happen to have the Star '91 mello-line hiding in your pocket (and even then, have you ever heard the notes above a high C on mello? Even with an amazing player they're nasty). :-p
I'd probably go back and fix all those sets of upbeats where the middle eighths are tied. That's correct in certain circumstances, but as it stands, they're mostly just hard on the eyes and would be better served as quarters between the eighths. I'd also contemplate changing the A Sax part so it's not in such a challenging tessitura for the entire song (much like the mello part, only it's more playable since it's a reed).

Finale Prinmusic 2008 save as audio file mp3. The snare, I changes from a more complicated to that. I just wanted to hear it, but it turned out to be boring. I have been busy with a few other songs. I have several that COULD use some help.
