I have a question though, it's really bugging me!
So I have the Blue Devils Book of Drumming, and Ditty in it. I noticed that in the book, it is spelled Ditty.. with t's. In the link above, it is spelled Diddy, with d's. Is this a typo, or are they somewhat re-naming it?

That just caught my attention for some reason. Any answer to this would be appreciated!

well if you think about it BD is more about beef not groove. so they should of called it grivous' BEEF, BUT I LIKE BEEF THAT GROOVEs.

If you look at Promark's website, the problem has been rectified.

I think the remix is kind of cool...to each his own.

Fixed the spelling, but still have it listed as a cadence.

Honestly, I could understand a non-percussive sponsor like a marching shoe getting it wrong, but a stick company should know what's up.

The remix is okay, but there's still only room in my heart for one Ditty and that's the original.

You know, websites make mistakes even if it is a stick company. The IT person may have just misread and spelled it wrong. On top of that it was listed as cadence for generalities.

Anyway my sister is a Blue Devil this year and from what she has heard the general response is people DIG the Remix.
