ok so my high school band orders shirts that have the theme of our show on it to go under our uniforms. its always a retarded shirt. the drumline usually gets something different, i was wondering if anyone has any ideas that id be able to use.

I've seen some great ones over the years. Unfortunately, standards of decency and general decorum prohibit me from describing them here.

My students wanted to get their own shirt last year. They came up with a whole bunch of ideas and every single one of them broke some kind of school rule or pushed the limits of basic decency.

It doesn't strike me as being an under-the-uniform kind of shirt, but there was a Pearl shirt from the early 90s that I liked and haven't seen in a long time. It had a vest carrier and the top of a snare silkscreened on it, meant to look the person was wearing a drum.

yeah we have Dynasty drums so i thought about incorporating that. idk. my freshman year we had the name of our drumline on the front the a flaming skull on the back. it was awesome. it had dlka blended into the flames. ill try to post a pic of it.

our shirt last year (my senior year) was a plain white tee with

iDrum

written on the front. and then our names and ".. a lot" on the back.

i liked it pretty good. a lot of people seemed to like it when we went to comps.

my freshman year our shirts said
"Whitesboros Ridiculously Goodlooking Drumline"
on the front, and on the back it said
"Your looking, Your liking"

i mean its school appropriate and idk its off of Zoolander so it makes me laugh
and we accidently spelled "Ridiculously" wrong

this year I think were doing
"Whitesboro Drumline, Stix in the City"
on the front and on the back
"Drumline, the only section that doesnt blow"

i was about to make a smart comment about how the guard section doesn't blow...but then i thought about it...

My band director & I, along with the rest of the line, were speaking about shirt ideas some time ago. The best one that came up was Drummers Have To Tap It. But it can be manipulated. Drumline -Yeah, We Tapped That.

bowling shirts.

just rock out some Under Armor loose gear. Simple and effective and everyone can go to a store and buy it themselves. Just pick a color (hopefully a school color).

Doesn't need to be customized to look sweet.
