Obviously, not the cleanest thing ever, but we haven't actually tried cleaning it much. We made this up while we were playing at our band's fireworks booth cause we got extremely bored of playing the other stuff that we were. "It" actually turned out to be pretty cool as we played it more, lol. Don't be too harsh on the criticism, I posted it to see what you guys thought of the composition, not the cleanliness.

Here's the snare part so far, only thing missing is the weird 5-let roll after the two triplets in measure 8, can't figure out the notation for it.

I dig the way the piece starts, although for something at this level, you guys should create a unique tap off as well.

dred, there's a first time for everything grin The ram doesn't work unless you do it.

snarepaint, we'll probably come up with a tap-off eventually, there's 3 more days of fireworks booth.

Double post, updated the snare part and added a mp3 recording of the snare score.

Nice.

How old are you and the others? Technique is pretty good. You must have a nice school band program, or do you take private lessons?
I am also assuming you're the one on the right in your video?

Red snare is going to be a senior, the quad player just graduated, and (yes, I'm the one on the right) I'm going to be a junior. I don't think there's anyone who gives lessons for marching percussion in our area, but our band program is really good (not to sound stuck-up or anything). James Logan High School, you've probably heard of us since you're in California.

Well the guard and the band is going, not all of us though, just about 100 of us, since it's so expensive.

I'll have the tenor part up as soon as my friend writes it out, his computer is down right now so he doesn't have access to a notation program.

Yes, I have heard of you guys. WBA Champs a few years in a row for 5A, right? Really good band.

By the way, have fun at the Olympics.
