I never read that it had to be independent so:

Thurston High School: 2005-2008. (2009 if we decide to compete this next year) We marched in Scholastic A class in the NWMBC circuit and one show in the WGI circuit.

As far as independent ensembles go, I haven't really looked into it that much because there aren't any units in my state that are in my area. There was one that was run by my current instructor, but they don't exist any longer. frown

Or search www.wgi.org. Seriously, where lines are located has been discussed sooo many times on these forums already.

sschs, do you know there is a search feature on the forums?

I've marched with:
McCluer North Winter Drumline PSR/PSA,this was for my junior and senior year. I played 3rd and then top bass.
(we started in Scholastic Regional and then moved up to A our second year) we competed in the MCCGA circuit.

Then for the last two years I've marched with:
Intrepid Percussion Ensemble , a PIA group.
we compete in WGI and MCCGA.
I played 3rd and 2nd bass.

I pretty much plan on staying with Intrepid for my last 2 years before I age out. I'm hoping on marching snare either this winter or my last year.

i haven't marched anywhere yet except for my high school drumline. i was supposed to march with the White Sabers in DCA as a tenor player but haven't heard anything from them since the fall. i'm hoping to audition for the Cadets, Jersey Surf and maybe the Bluecoats. this winter i'm looking to get in a WGI line.

I would call and remind them that you haven't received the show music yet.

note: before responding to this post, please make all attempts to intepret the ironical value I have humorously tried to convey.
