The guy who used to tech the snares last season at my school was in cadets 2007, but that's about it.

Glenn Frey from The Eagles went to my high school well before my time.

Chris Love, he marched snare here a while back and he's one of our techs now. He has a band that's sorta kinda famous. They played a show at the delta fair and the drumline got to come on and play with him. So, I guess he's semi-famous lol. Also, according to the sign over the pressbox in the football stadium, we've had "The greatest men ever to play the game of football," come through our school. Which explains all the losing seasons lol.

The sign must be referring to the visiting team. Maybe that's why your team keeps losing. I mean, if the other guys are the "greatest men ever to play," your team doesn't stand a chance. wink

Just to add on, we have 3 brothers at my school, all of which can rock the drumset like no other, each with their own style. Im hoping for one of them to get a major endorsment or famous one day, just so I can tell my kids I knew them.

Right now one of them is going to Chicago in the Guitar Center drum off, had 3 parts of the competition so far, and placed first every time. I guess hes already getting stuff for it.

just to let you guys know, being a drummer, he meant to hit the rims, it's part of the effect. It changes it up a bit.

I don't think anyone important is from Pace. I know there's some athletes from neighboring towns. And Roy Jones Jr. lives here in Pensacola. He has roosters on his gate and likes to shop at Best Buy.

Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters graduated from my high school, Columbus North High School (known in his day as Columbus Sr. High School, since our town only had one H.S. back then).

Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage are my heroes.

Bruno Zuccala, director of the Cavaliers, got his BA in education from my university, and currently helps design our marching band visual program and instructs the guard.

Slippery Rock also has a pretty extensive list of athletes and etc. but I don't know any others off hand.
