I recently purchased the double IP bag. I tried to attach it onto my school's quads (the small Field Corps Yamaha series) and I have run into a problem. On it's own, the pockets are pretty open so you can drop the sticks in and they will slide on their own. But when I try to attach it to the quads the bag never seems to be able to be centered and if it is, the bag is stretched around the drum making the pockets tight. I have tried attaching my Vic Firth doubles and they work perfectly. However, my drumline wanted to switch to Innovative this year. And I really would like to keep a double on the quads instead of using snare bags. Can anyone help me with this problem?

well a quick fix that we used is wire ties, what we did was just make a loop with the velcro keeping it lose. then run a wire tie from the velcro loop to the tension rod. works great for us.

let me know if that doesn't make sense and i can see if i can get some pics on how we did it.

we had the same problem

2 minute fix: put a stick in it and stretch the crap out of it, then it works fine

take one of those big black paper clamps that you woulp use on a big stak of papers and put it so that i clamps the edges of the pockets that touch that should keep them open
