I got DDT pecussion soundfont for finale because it was $100 cheaper than vdl. I got snare and Tenors working fine, but bass drums are giving me a problem. It' is like that are (on the staff) 2-3 octaves below what they should be, but when I get it right, (only once) it had an x notehead
any help?

Ok. You need to put them in the right (correct, as opposed to the oppisite of left) channel
its 3
1 for snare, 2 for tenors 3 for bass 4 for cym.
Take a look at the cadence that came with DDT for note placement

i had it like that, and it wouldn't work on that either

like I said before, I use fruity loops.
Find the sound you are looking for in the piano roll, and then select every note on the pitch and move it to the desired pitch with shift + up/down.
I just make midis of each part and put them in FL with the soundfont player.
