I wanted to use the world famous beginning licks of Crazy Army (Now more commonly known as Electric Wheelchair) and incorporate them into a short cadence of my own. So here is Crazy Army of Ants. (Like the title?)

It's not a difficult cadence because I wrote for my highschool drumline with hope that we could maybe play this for a parade next year.

Obviously the beginning is not original, but everything else (excluding the snare solo that we played two years ago) is. smile

This is also my first cadence so I'm open to suggestions.

NEWER Crazy Army of Ants - Newer (Added another groove section and a better ending.

CRAZY ARMY OF ANTS!! (Also added as an attatchment)

If anybody would like to see the score, let me know how to create PDF files out of .sib scores.

Thanks smile

EDIT - I'm changing some of the parts and working on adding a cymbal part, which I originally didn't add because I can't figure out how to use all of the cymbal sounds. I'm also going to write out the stickings and make a PDF later.

to make a pdf...
get cute pdf, then "print" it using that.

Overall, it could have been a little longer, but i like the EW inflience at the begining

Well, our cadence needs to be short because at our christmas parade the band also plays a christmas song, so the cadence can't be too long.

we had to play a christmas song, yet our cadence was about 20-30 seconds longer, and we still got to play our song a lot in 2 miles (yes 2 mile christmas parade)

That parade was the worst one i've even been in2 miles of up and down hills, hotttttt, in full uniform, with candy on horse CRAP on everyones shoe...
enough griping, but it still could be slightly longer

(please do not try to circumvent the swear filter....consider this a warning)

The new version is cool. It should fit your needs, however, for everyone's listening pleasures, (but not for your school drumline to play) please make it longer and get that cymbal part written because this would sound really cool if it were a little longer and had a cool cymbal part. just my thoughts

I agree. I just can't figure out how to get the right cymbal sounds. I know they're there I just don't know how to get them! >_<

BP drumline,

We get it...you want music. This is the 2nd thread you posted in requesting the author to post the music. If they don't want to post it, that is their choice. There are plenty of threads on this board that contain music without asking for it (which is against forum rules by the way)

Please make an effort to actually post something with some merit to it instead of just asking for music (it has benefits)
