Guys! Guess what our drum feature is this year! Thriller! Seriously though, Why is everyone doing thriller?
I think were doing like, a Steviewonder and Earth,Wind, and Fire show, With thriller as the "drumfeature".
By drumfeature I mean this is the point where the band does a dance while the drums keep the tempo, At least it's not a terrible hit rap song this year.
I'm with the other person who said it, Being corp-style in a show style band sucks.

The drum feature in thriller, what I have seen, is nothing very special. It's still pretty good though

It all depends on who writes the drum feature..our drum feature is in thriller too and our Percussion Instructor, who arranged our whole bands' show, wrote a killer awesome drum feature..you can't just assume that since its in thriller the feature is nothing special..I think Thriller is a good place to have a drum feature since Thriller is a repetative song..

our drum feature hasn't been written yet, as far as i know, but i hope its good and diffcult cuz the show music is too easy..a line made up of all rookies could play it with one hand

a school i saw last year did a John Williams tribute last year. which is the composer of the star wars, HP 1 -3, ET, Gone With The Wind, Superman, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and many great well known movies.
anyways they did Superman Jaws Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jurassic Park...and they literally used the stand tune of jaws for the show..but yea i hear what ur saying

we did John Williams in 2005, and it... sucked, but it was our last director.
Dude, I wish I was playin Livin on a prayer and Sweet child. sounds.... sweet
