He works full time and has a family to take care of to, so he only gets a few hours here and there to do it. Usually we're registering by now. Hopefully we'll be able to get the FDC up and running this year before the season starts. I might be asking some veteran members, if I notice any online, to test out some of the scripts as early as tonight. All registration deadlines will be similar if not the same to last year, so yes, that period will be shorter. However, the period is still plenty long enough. DigitalDrummer Registered: 10/03/06 Loc: TX	well darfin, it's basically our version of fantasy baseball, fantasy football, and what not... Here's how it works. You start with X number of points at the beginning of the season. You use these points to buy different captions of various corps. So for example, you could buy the Blue Devils' percussion caption for X points, and Carolina Crown's color guard for X amount of points, and so on and so forth. The prices of each corps captions are determined by how they scored in the previous year... So since the blue devils scored highest in percussion this year, they will be the most expensive. Well anyways, you basically just pick and choose an array of different captions until you can fit them all in your point budget. And that's that! _________________________ Alamo Heights H.S. You also announce your choice of show theme and selections if you wish, and some go so far as to actually arrange and post the songs.
