dude i feel so blessed right now. Mike Stevens lives about 15 miles from me. Murray Gusseck and Jim Cassela were both living in Vacouver, Washington. Murray even taught Evergreen Highschool last year. Alan Keowan lives in Eugene. Not to mention other names like Jeff Bush... I live pretty close to marching heaven. : P

this is a GREAT piece of knowledge, very influential. I love the section about the head. We hear and read a lot of things on interp, control, timing, etc. etc. That stuff is all very important but rarely do we get taught how to think. That is just as if not more important than how we play.
