i used my bell kit stand it didn't work. (then again it's Pearl, not Vic Firth)

I would imagine the pad would shake a lot on a bell/snare stand.

that's what I meant 3-4, and I don't particularly like how much it shakes

I bought my quadpad from a local music store for about $100 and I put the pad on a keyboard stand I bought from Guitar Center. As for the sticks, I just use Vegas.

I'm through and through a Snare-er, but I seriously want one of these so bad. For no specific reason. I just have to have one.

ok i am also looking to buy one, and the cheapest i have found is like $102 dollars at steve weiss WITH the laminates, and that is about 10 dollars cheaper than anywhere else without the laminates. BOTH pads, small and large, come with two attatchable spock drums, i used to think the small one only had one, but it has two as well. the quadropad has the added advantage that on the bus to and from competitions, you can fit 4 snares on it instead of having them all bring their own pads. and they're all looking at each other and its wonderful. so i'm gonna buy my own.

I LOVE THE QUADROPAD!!!

It's perfect...best simulation to a real drum

One con: with the laminates on, it makes the pad about 75 percent harder than normally. I actually broke a stick on it just by playing a mezzo-forte... frown

I have a quick question...

If I were to take off the laminates, what would be the advantages of it??

Not going to do it yet, just wondering; just give me a list of pros and cons of the laminates....
