(i'm the "Co-Co-Captain"...lol)

SkyhawkDrummer Registered: 11/06/07 Loc: SoCal	Our BD doesn't hold tryouts. Drums go to certain people based on Talent/Seniority. My instructor wants to put me on snare or quints even though i'd prefer snare but my BD wants me on bass because I need to show the freshman what's up with the program.Our show is entitled "The Impossible Machine" and i really hope I land on snare. _________________________ Freshman:Bass 3(Marching Band) Bass 2(Winter Drumline)[Bass Cap.] Sophomore:Bass 2(Marching Band)[Bass Cap.] Incognito '09: Snare Drum(Winter Drumline)

HillgroveSnares Registered: 05/14/08 Loc: Georgia United States	We kind of have it easy. We as the drumline dont have a specific date to try out. After Marching season we still practice every tuesday and those are basically our auditions. So we never stop playing basically year round. So we never stop playing basically year round.:) your lucky, as soon as marching season is over we pack up the drums and go straingt to concert band. we never see the marching stuff till the next years pre-camp. no wgi indoor perccussion no drumline competitions, NOTHING!! _________________________ There is nothing more amazing then 9 guys playing 1 thing and marching around while having the sound of one loud drum. 07-08-Pit(bass&gong) [Into A Dream] 08-09-Snare [Iron Man(invincible)]
