why not just keep using the VF vega? Idk if you are endorsed or anything but if you aren't why not just go ahead and use the sticks you want to use.

I personally like Vegas more, but I'm a lone tenor player in my line. I think TS-7s are better in an actual tenor line setting because as far as I know, it sounds a bit cleaner because of the rounder head, hence rounder tone. I could be wrong, but I dunno. They're a little heavier, though, and the head's bigger, so it's a bit closer to a mallet.

Overall, I like them, and just after thinking that up, I'ma go dig mine out and try them.

So yeah, if you're getting endorsed, I say it's not a bad idea.

I think the tom aungst tenor hybrids make the ts7 and vegas obselete I think snare sticks can still be used but the hybrids are far superior to other mallets
