Ok, this is probably nothing big. But It's getting irritating.
For those who have seen Blue Smoke, not even or any of the Blue Devils 2006 show.. What is the verbals the battery say during the beginning, at the drum feature???
After the snare, tenor, and bass features.. they say something there. And another spot is when they do the cross stick thing in their hands, when going backwards.
It's really bothering me and I can't figure out what they say.

haha, i've been trying to figure out what they say. At one point towards the end of the closer it almost sounds like they say "say hello to your godfather", but i'm really not sure.

When they do the cross sticks in the air, they say "brass fire" and after the opening features they say "Victor Corleone".

Are you sure its "brass fire?" I always thought it was "cross fire"

I don't know really.. I would amagin "cross fire" would make more sence, because of the vis. they do.

I always thought the actually visual was them doing the puppet thing like on the cover of the Godfather book. I always heard brass fire. That's just me.

Does "brass fire" have anything to do with the god father? im not being mean or anything im just wondering, because ive never seen them. but I think its crossfire because they say that after those extremely fast singles that sound like gunshots

Yes, brass fire has a lot to do with the Godfather. Brass Fire can be used as a metaphor for bullets. And those phrases don't always have to make sense. This year the Blue Devils said things like "Darn this stanza" and stuff. It's just a way to keep time and count rests instead of dutting.
