Does anyone know where you can buy this marimba solo? I've searched over many percussion sheet music retailers, but I haven't gotten a result either (I only get the CD with the recording of Katamiya in it)

Youtube video of a guy playing Katamiya

I heard that it is also part of a book called "Sevel Solos for Marimba" by Sejourne, but I can't find that either. So if someone can tell me where I can get either the solo itself, or the book with the solo in it, I would appreciate it a lot.

I checked his web site and it says that it's published by a company named "Zimmerman," but I searched google for that and couldn't find much more. You could try e-mailing Sejourne (his e-mail might be on his web site), or you could e-mail Nancy Zeltsman (who did one of the recordings, and her e-mail is on her web site).

I believe this solo is in Nancy's four mallet method book.

This solo is not in Nancy's Four-Mallet Marimba Playing book. I looked a bit further on her website, and found that it's in a book called "Internationale Soli für Percussion: 7 Stücke für Marimba". However, I tried to look this book up and I can't find it anywhere (translating into English doesn't help). E-mailing Nancy Zeltsman is probably your best bet at finding a copy of the solo if you can't get the information from anyone else.

My bad, I was thinking of "Nancy." The piece is in a collection of solos called "7 Pieces for Marimba" It's available at Steve Weiss,

I'm sorry, I know this is off-topic, but is "Nancy" by Sejourne in Nancy Zeltsman's four-mallet method book? I want to get the sheet music for this solo, and i also want to buy the Zeltsman book. If the solo is indeed in the Zeltsman book, then I don't want to buy the solo separately for $20 from steve weiss.
