Yea, my school does not have the best eqiupment or drums. We are thinking of getting new ones. How much do you think a new set of drums are for the whole line.

Well, how much you will spend depends on how many you have ib you line, how many of what instrument you're going to have, what level of equipment (ex, if you are going to get Pearl, will you get Competitor or Championchip drums?), and the same with carriers.

our line just raised money and bought new carriers. it cost about 2,400 for the 5 snares and 2 tenors. we got those new peral ones

we just got our small line drums recovered, I guess thats what you could call it. Also they put new hardware and heads on, but the only new carrier we got was for our quints. We have 3 snares, 4 basses, and 1 tenor (quint), and they charged us around $3000. If you get new ones though it would depend on who you got them through, what brand they are, what type your getting, and what kind of hardware and cariers you are going to get. There are so many possibilities. Oh ya, also if you are going to get your drums through the internet I would suggest Idahopercussion.com or ColumbusPercussion.com
they have prices there which are somewhat similar to what most dealers will sell them to you for.

i suggest going to peael's website and finding out their price on equipment they might be a litte higher on prices tha most most peole but the drums will last longer than the other brands
