I plan to attend WCU and I know several of their band's alumni. I am at NLHS right now where a lot of kids plan on marching with western and I was wondering if anyone on here who is or was in western's line who could tell me more about it, like what grip they use, what warmups they have, ect.

They have a video on Vic Firth that shows both the pit and the drumline. You can also find the audition music here on their website. Edit: Link to the video. It's the 3rd one down.

I was wondering what grip the snares use, and is your cadance still spyder? I have about bunch of side questions too first one is this is my first year marching and Bob Buckner wrote our drill for us, will he be writing western's drill when I get there? Next question is do you know Nick Nichols, Adam Shinn, or Ben Lawinweek? I have a ton of other stuff I would love to talk to you about if you want to. Send me a PM if you don't mind talking. Thanks.
