Latin Lover is in 4/4 at roughly 120 BPM, so I can see how it could be called a cadence, but it doesn't quite fit the profile. It would also seem that the new ending for 2007—going into mixed meter, and putting the release on the "e" of beat 1—is Brian Perez's way of saying "No, it's not."
It's in 4 Spice Mon Spyder (or Spider? The one JMU plays... and just about everyone else) Electric Wheelchair Cadets Street Time (the late 90's version, when it was not so much a ram)

spyder ahhhhh talk abut an overplayed cadence, in the late 90's i swear everybody played some version of spyder.

This is almost a complete rip from Glassmen's "G11" written in '98. Unless I've completely forgotten how to read music, I don't see that they are anything alike. I'm looking at the print version of G11 and "Do You Right" and they aren't lining up.

I'm looking at the print version of G11 and "Do You Right" and they aren't lining up. Now of course they will not line up note for note.....(really?)..but just reading through the voices of the parts, for instance the intro and the section after the intro.....they are basically transcriptions of the same tune, but written differently.
